I found your essays thru a posting on a yahoogroup I belong to. The group is working to fight a.r. legislation put forth in Illinois. It is a tough slog; a.r. is well organized and has been working on this for many, many years, as you know.
I am asking if I may cross-post all of your essays to a yahoogroup I started for my specific breed. I have been working with our National Clubs legal staff and President, providing information, material, and encouraging people to take this issue very seriously.

i started last year doing canine advocacy, I was with a group but now do this on my own "Liberty & Justice for Dogs." I don't have a website, due to the fact there are many wonderful sites out there and I prefer to do for field work instead. The above article was sent to me thru Google alerts, and I couldn't be happier. I been searching the web to collect articles that I can distribute to City Council members regarding model dog laws. With your permission and of course full credit acknowledge to you and your site I would like to be to use this article in support of my push for more cities to follow Calgary's by laws.

I've enjoyed reading the last three months of posts. As an agriculture producer of beef cattle, I appreciate a site that presents facts and proposes questions for those of us to ponder. I am deeply concerned about animal rights groups as well as environmental groups and their affect on agriculture production. I would love to on occasion see more stories on agriculture life on the farm or ranch as Cathy wrote. Agriculture producers do what they do because they love the lifestyle.
