- Why has property seized by the state of Indiana been handed over to an organization predominantly involved in political lobbying such as the HSUS ?
- Does the state of Indiana or the Indiana Attorney General’s office have a formal arrangement with the HSUS allowing its people to act as law enforcement officers in the State of Indiana? If so, why is an organization predominantly involved in political lobbying being permitted to act in law enforcement capacity? If not, why was the HSUS involved in this proceeding with the tacit approval of Indiana Attorney General Zoeller, who has not disavowed the HSUS involvement?
- Why has property seized by the state of Indiana been been given away, preventing the state selling the seized property to offset the outstanding tax debt and prior to the laying of criminal charges or any legal conviction?
- Why was member of the Indiana House of Representatives Linda Lawson permitted to participate in the seizure of property on behalf of the HSUS in a law enforcement operation? Rep. Lawson can be seen in the images below in HSUS t-shirt participating in the raid.

The problem with this response is two-fold (1) the Attorney General’s office has already commented on this investigation at length in the media and (2) the inquiries sent to the Attorney General’s office do not address the details of the investigation but address the conduct of the Attorney General’s office. Why are these questions being ignored?

Hsus has in place an army of state attorneys general. 25 ag’s have sighned a letter to the us supreme court. They are trying to use the ags to lobbie the courts oppinion on an up coming case. http://www.wjhg.com/state/headlines/48081037.html. They have used their phony dog fighting reward program to gain access to these people. I am from sc and watched them shower our ag with rewards and photo opts. The result was that they aquired a powerful lobbiest for minimum cost. They have used this strategy nationwide. Once the camel gets his nose in the tent it is hard to keep him out. Please use your writng tallent to expand on this issue.
H$U$ is involved with many questionable “raids” of animals. They promise political support & funds to politicians. However, the whole world is watching and asking these same questions. Animal agriculturists are linking hands to fight the animal rights agenda. There is a storm coming. Becareful which side you support. There are more of us. My dog votes.
HSUS is really going overboard and why is it they are getting so much power. People who support them don’t realize what they are really about. Watch out animal lovers seems like the day is coming NONE of us will be allowed to have any animal. CRAZY!!!!!
They did the same thing in PA, they harrassed and destroyed a commercial dog breeder, in the end took 216 dogs and GAVE them to the HSUS, yet he was 90,000.00 in tax arrears.

Thank you Erica for keeping us informed on the Garwood raid. After studying the pictures of Linda Lawson, I have a couple of points to make. Why is Rep. Lawson holding 2 sick adult dogs covered in feces next to her HSUS t-shirt without wearing protecting clothing? Her gloves did not even cover her bare arms. Also, who in the world would (or even could) hold and carry 2 “poor unsocialized caged adult dogs” next to their face without getting clawed or bitten?
